On March 22, we started a seminar promoting the “Green Leader” project in Parzęczew! The event began with a welcome by the Mayor of Parzęczew, Mr. Ryszard Nowakowski, and Ms. Ewa Witkowska, President of the Regional Development Center. During the seminar, we presented the achievements of the “Green Leader” project and facilitated an expert discussion on “Competencies for a sustainable environment”. The discussion highlighted ecological threats, which are becoming more serious every year, and their effects are felt by people all over the world. They contribute to the disruption or breakdown of the natural balance. They lead to the extinction of many species of plants and animals, degradation of the natural environment, and expose people to health and economic problems. Experts also discussed green leadership both in the local community and at the level of local government authorities. Various threads emerged in the discussion, each debate participant had interesting thoughts and ideas During the seminar, there were also presentations showing the best practices in the circular economy, the competences of green leaders and green leadership in Poland and Finland. Additionally, workshops were held that generated engaging discussions on potential green initiatives. We were delighted and we Babahusky joined remotely, contributing to an enriching exchange of ideas and experiences. The seminar was a huge success, fostering collaboration and inspiring action for a greener and more sustainable future.

The seminar was topped off with a delicious cake and a lot of nice conversation between.
