We had a great experts meeting on Friday! What we have agreed:
The structure and content of the Green Leader Program will depend on the specific goals and objectives of the program, as well as the needs and context of the target audience. However, we found out some potential elements that could be included in the program: Introduction to sustainability, Leadership skills, Sustainability strategy development, Best practices in sustainability, Tools and resources for sustainability, Implementation and monitoring. We discussed also a definition of a local green leader! A LOCAL GREEN LEADER is someone who takes an active role in promoting environmental sustainability and encouraging others to adopt more eco-friendly practices. They may work within their local community or on a larger scale, and may undertake a variety of activities to promote environmental sustainability.
The Green Leader activities in the local society are:
1. organize community events
2. advocate for sustainable policies
3. educate the community
4. partner with local businesses
5. encourage community involvement
The program could be delivered through a combination of in-person and online learning, and could be tailored to the specific needs and context of the target audience.
